The Espago card provider has introduced a new refusal code number 79. Such a code appears when a payment fails and means that the card owner has withdrawn consent to recurring payments.
Cards with this response code can no longer be charged. In the eFitness system, such a card will therefore be marked as “non-chargeable” and removed from the system at the end of the month. The club member will have to add another card to the system to continue paying for the membership.
